Our ever-changing, eclectic treasure hunt of thousands of the world’s best and most exciting fashion and homeware brands mean our customers can find their unique style for less.
This is down to our Off-Price business model, which is at the heart of everything we do. Our opportunistic buyers are on the hunt throughout the year, buying merchandise from thousands of vendors around the world. It’s about thinking fast, being creative and making great deals.
This means that no two deliveries are ever the same. And neither are any two days. It’s an unconventional approach which is echoed throughout all areas of TJX Europe.
But in a business which relies on speed and interconnectivity, everything needs to work smoothly together. Which is why it’s important for our IT graduates to have a thorough knowledge of our entire business. And that’s what makes the IT Graduate Programme at TJX Europe pretty special.
Responsibility from the start
You’ll start with a comprehensive induction and then continue to develop yourself through a series of workshops and training programmes. All of which will enable you to take on responsibility quickly.
Over the next three years or so, you’ll gain experience across our Plan, Build and Run Functions.
- Plan involves looking forward and identifying the latest technology trends and future opportunities.
- Build focuses on designing, developing and testing new technology – helping to make future plans a reality.
- Run makes sure the lights are on 24/7 and helps keep stores selling, buyers buying and systems secure and compliant.
Over the next three years or so, you’ll experience our Plan, Build and Run Functions. The business is constantly changing, so the timing and order of your rotations is based on current needs.
What won’t change is your progression with the business. You’ll gain exposure to all areas, take on different projects, work with a range of colleagues and gain a wealth of technical expertise and business knowledge. All experience which is vital to our rapid growth and will form a solid foundation for you to develop your skills to become an expert in your field or a future leader.

Qualifications and experience requirements
Alongside the requirements listed below, if you have European language skills – particularly German or Polish – that would be great. And if you’ve lived and worked in Europe, even better. In a business like ours, these are great assets to have.
- A related degree and/or practical experience
- Passion for how technology drives business improvements and enhances customer experience
- Curiosity for identifying better ways of doing things and a collaborative mindset to challenge the status quo
- Knowledge or experience of programming languages (including C/C#, Cognos, SQL, Excel) would be an advantage
