Graduate Business Analyst - Supply Optimisation Unit

Job description

As our new Graduate Business Analyst working in our Supply Optimisation Unit (in VRM), you’ll assist the team through analysis of data in relation to waste flows through Viridor sites, the interpretation of the data to offer improvements about how the supply chain could be optimised further, and the implementation of projects.

In this role, you will identify discrepancies and produce reports, collaborate with the wider business to ensure all data is accurate, produce cost benefit analysis of the waste outputs and ensure that there are strong interactions between the team and wider business departments for further future optimisation.

What we are looking for

You’ll be a strong relationship builder and team player with good communication skills both written and verbal that will assist you in liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You’ll have good numerical and analytical skills and attention to detail. Self-motivated and resilient, you’ll be able to work to conflicting deadlines and priorities with an ability to be adaptable to change if required.

Qualifications

As our new Graduate Business Analyst, you’ll be qualified to a minimum degree level with demonstrable knowledge, understanding and experience of analytical tools and techniques including those aligned to cost saving and optimisation purposes. You’ll preferably understand supply chain and have knowledge of this.
