What is the All Wales Public Sector Finance Apprenticeship programme?

Get a financial qualification and learn about public sector finance through the apprenticeship programme.

You’ll have the unique opportunity of spending time with other partner bodies, experiencing the full range of finance functions.

Who is part of the programme?

This exciting new apprenticeship programme is being delivered in partnership with members of the Finance Skills Development Group (FSDG). The FSDG includes organisations such as:

  • Audit Wales
  • NHS Wales
  • Welsh Government and sponsored bodies
  • Local government
  • Gwent Police

Why Audit Wales?

As an apprentice at Audit Wales, you’ll be part of a dynamic team who are passionate about inspiring and empowering the Welsh public sector to improve. You’ll be learning and developing as you go, supporting audits and gaining confidence in how to undertake external audits.

You’ll receive support and coaching throughout your apprenticeship and access to further professional development opportunities. Our apprenticeship programme also provides a pathway to our graduate scheme.

Training

The three-year fixed term programme offers professional training with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) from level 2 through to level 4, supplemented with further professional training.

Mae'r rhaglen cyfnod penodol tair blynedd yn cynnig hyfforddiant proffesiynol gyda Chymdeithas y Technegwyr Cyfrifyddu (AAT) o lefel 2 hyd at lefel 4, wedi'i hategu gan hyfforddiant proffesiynol pellach.
