Job description

We’re offering you the chance to gain hands-on experience in the food industry with our three-year programme during which you will be studying for your professional ACA accountancy qualifications. You will have two, 18 month placements, and this variety is important to help you understand the finance function and how the function interacts with the other departments within the business. You will be developing your financial knowledge and skills, gaining invaluable experience in the industry and possibly securing yourself a future with us too.

Our businesses are based nationwide so you need to be mobile and be prepared to be hands on growing your finance knowledge supporting all areas of the business, with exposure to commercial, operations and financial accounting, crucially your role will be very real and you will have the chance to make a difference.

Person requirements

You will need to have great communication skills, able to talk to non finance people in a way that they will understand what you are saying from a finance perspective. You will need to be tenacious and have good time management as outside of the classroom training, the ACA qualification will require you to study in your own time whilst carrying out a full time job.

Qualifications and experience requirements

We welcome applications from students who have completed a first degree or masters with any pass grade / discipline. However you must have achieved a grade A in your GCSE maths in order to progress your application.
