Business Graduate Programme

Still recruiting throughout COVID‑19

Job description

The Worship.Works Graduate Programme is seeking Christian graduates who want to begin their professional career within the commercial business sector, whilst also putting Christ at the centre of their work life. You will be placed within our partner organisation and will work closely with a team of like-minded Christians from a range of Christian backgrounds. The team operates in the workplace in the power of the Holy Spirit, serving clients who are among the world’s largest in their field, and impacting people, systems and nations through their work.

The graduate role lasts for an initial 12 month period, but the organisation highly anticipates the opportunity for progression into a permanent role upon successful completion of this programme. As such, you will become part of the core team from the very beginning, and will receive investment into your professional and spiritual development with the aim of supporting you to kick-start a long term career with the organisation. The programme is designed to offer a range of opportunities within the business from analysis work, to sales and marketing, to client interactions. Therefore you can expect to gain a wealth of knowledge and many transferable skills which will help to accelerate your future career.

Through a detailed training programme, you will be equipped with the practical skills necessary to thrive in the professional world, whilst also contributing to the day-to-day activities of the organisation. Your growth as a disciple of Jesus will be prioritised with the provision of valuable spiritual input through mentoring and biblical teaching sessions, in order to support you in understanding how to truly serve God through your work. In the first few months, graduates will work alongside experienced members of the team, with an expectation to be playing an increasing leadership role on projects throughout the programme.

Please see below for details of key activities of all graduates within the programme:

  • Taking part in daily team corporate prayer sessions.
  • Receiving regular support from your assigned mentor.
  • Participating in weekly sub-team meetings.
  • Writing content for publishing on the website.
  • Conducting outreach to potential clients.

Depending on the team in which you are working, day-to-day activities may also include:

  • Analysing and drawing valuable insights from datasets.
  • Accurately following thorough research methodologies using technological platforms and tools.
  • Producing visually stimulating reports to communicate research findings.
  • Verbally presenting work-in-progress to colleagues and seeking feedback in order to continually improve.
  • Building relationships with clients through meetings and workshops.
  • Supporting in account management and administration tasks.
  • Writing documents as part of the sales and project process.
  • Supporting with customer relationship marketing
  • Creating and designing marketing materials
