Why is the XPO Graduate Programme the perfect step for you?
You’ve left university and there’s suddenly a multitude of choices and businesses that offer graduate schemes, we’re going to need to stand out, right? Here’s some of the common questions asked from graduates that have previously been through our programme:
Is there any training and development? – There definitely is. We’ll put you through your IOSH (Health and Safety qualification), Transport Manager CPC (a qualification that allows you to run a transport operation) and level-three Apprenticeship in Leadership and Management (a fully recognised qualification to help you become an outstanding leader). On top of this, we have a brand new e-learning training portal called XPO University which will support your ongoing development.
How will I understand a business the size of XPO? – You’ll complete four placements of six months in different areas of our business across the country. In total, the programme will last for two years so you’ll need to be flexible to move around. You’ll cover areas including operations, warehousing, transport and projects to name a few.
What support will I receive? – A dedicated support network including a personal mentor to help you through your two-year journey. You’ll be starting your career at the same time as other graduates so you can share your experiences with each other. Not only that, part of this support network will be from senior managers that also came through the very same programme!
Will you invest in my career? Absolutely. Every graduate that joins XPO receives a permanent job at the end of the two-year programme. You’ll use these two years to establish yourself in our business, build your networks and see what area best suits your skillset.
Will I see any progression? – In 2018 exactly half of all our hires were filled with internal applicants! You’ll have access to all of our live vacancies and be pushed to accelerate your career with us.

- Full, UK driving licence desirable with access to your own car
