Be the one to make a difference every day
Here at Serco, our Graduate Management Trainee Programme offers you an amazing launchpad for a career within a global FTSE 250 company - as well as a unique opportunity to be directly involved in delivering better public services.
To bid-for and win new business we need to have great tools and IT applications to help us manage and execute the process. Joining our Sales Tooling team you’ll be acting as a conduit between our bidding and IT teams, helping you to understand new business and sales, whilst also managing application lifecycles that support vital new business projects.
From day one you will be focussing on developing your capability to lead talented teams, build customer relationships, solve complex problems and communicate effectively. You’ll receive a wide range of training, including courses in Process Improvement, People Management, Change Management & Project Management. We’ll also work with you to identify additional qualifications you’ll need to further your career with us.
With the support of your colleagues and senior managers, you’ll be given the autonomy and tools to innovate as you make a personal impact. And once you complete the programme you’ll be well prepared to take a role in which plays to your strengths and sets you up for a fantastic career.
What we are looking for
To be a future leader at Serco you must also have the following qualities:
- A genuine interest in delivering essential public services

- An ability to show resilience and empathy in the face of adversity

As our one of Graduates you’ll be bringing your intellect, commercial mind-set, passion and ideas – along with the business and technical acumen you need to work within our Sales Tooling team.
With a business and a workforce as diverse as ours we’re not looking for a specific degree discipline, what’s more important is that you can bring your own personal experience to bear in helping us redesign and improve public services for the benefit of everyone.
