This is an exciting opportunity for graduate salesperson to join an exciting and expanding group of companies, one of which was named in Investec's top 100 fastest growing small companies in 2014. We're looking at taking on a new sales person in Clipper Contracting Group, an umbrella payroll company. You would be required to develop key relationships with our recruitment partners that refer these individuals and ultimately increase the volume of business we do. The role is based in our London sales office and will involve both developing business over the phone but also through face to face meetings so the applicant should feel comfortable with both of these disciplines.
Responsible for generating new business leads and contacts through cold calling, maintaining existing relationships and client meetings. You would be responsible for explaining and selling the solutions we offer to our recruitment clients and increasing the number of leads we receive. You would be responsible for negotiating our margin and fees, rebate structures and outlining our key USPs. As it is a graduate position, all training in these aspects will be provided whilst also gaining a more rounded understanding of the companies in general.
Our ethos is to reward hard work and ultimately, an increase in business. Our basic salary for graduate positions starts at £23k, plus commission. This will rise following a probation period and once you are up to speed with the role, commission is uncapped. We also provide company pension, rising holiday entitlement with service and death in service. As we’re a growing company, there is a lot of scope for career progression and training will be provided where required.
Clipper Contracting Group specialises in providing temporary contractors with a solution that allows them to offset their business expenses each week to improve their net pay. The other group companies include an accountancy business and a recruitment finance company. Within each, we work closely with our recruitment partners who refer new leads to us. You would be joining an existing, experienced team, alongside other sales staff. We’re a company that likes to create a unique work atmosphere, with constant monthly sales rewards, team building nights out and Christmas parties abroad.
Previous sales experience is beneficial, but not essential. A confident and resilient nature is essential however and an outgoing nature, able to interact with a variety of different people is very important. A polite phone and email manner accompanied with good organisational skills are all very important attributes of the position. You should be degree qualified.
