We are currently looking for the next generation of tax advisors to join our growing tax teams – both Private Client Tax (individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships) and Business Tax (companies and LLPs).
If you have already obtained your degree, or are about to do so, then our Graduate Tax Trainee Programme offers a practical way to kick-start an exciting career in tax.
We offer a Level 7 Apprenticeship - a three-year training contract with a combination of on-the-job learning and structured classroom-based training. Apprenticeships are available to study either:
- ACA / CTA joint programme (Business Tax)
- ATT / CTA joint pathway (Private Client Tax)
Key responsibilities
- Preparing tax computations and tax returns for a wide variety of individuals, trusts, estates and partnerships (Private Client Tax)
- Preparing tax computation and returns for a wide variety of companies and LLPs (Business Tax)
- Assisting directors and managers with technical research and consultancy services.
- Communicating directly with clients from the start of your career.
- Liaising with HM Revenue & Customs on behalf of clients.

What we are looking for
- Predicted a minimum 2:2 in your undergraduate degree, in any subject.
- Good numeracy and literary skills
- Ability to demonstrate good verbal and written communication
- Willingness to learn and ability to be flexible
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to maintain work-life-study balance to meet required deadlines
- Willingness to contribute as part of a team
- A valid driving licence and access to own transport
- The right to work in the UK for the duration of the training contract. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship
