Job description

City of Wolverhampton College, a forward thinking further education centre located in the Midlands, is launching a Graduate Programme for up to two years, and it's creating opportunities for highly motivated graduates to help change young people's lives through education.

Enjoying genuine responsibilities from day one, the programme will give you a broad understanding of how the college runs as a business, and prepare you to take on leadership roles in the future.

Hungry to use the skills you've developed during your degree course, you'll benefit from a bespoke Graduate Programme, which in its later stages will be tailored to your personal development. You will be determined to make the most of the professional development opportunities and supportive network we offer.

Inspiring students to explore the world of IT and preparing them to take on leadership roles will be your aim as an IT Lecturer. And our two-year programme will help ensure you do exactly that. Ready to work across all our campus sites, you'll seek to engage and motivate students, learn how to create lesson plans, and discover classroom management techniques that will ensure your teaching is effective.

You'll enjoy early responsibility and the chance to study for a PGCE or other relevant qualifications. You'll also receive a generous holiday allowance of up to 40 days per year.
