We have an exciting opportunity to join a well established, privately owned silicon foundry operation manufacturing microelectronics / MEMS.
We are passionate about our business and we are looking for an experienced MEMS Process Development Engineer who wants to make a difference.
We are keen to hear from candidates who have experience developing and introducing MEMS semiconductor products with knowledge of: materials, Photolithography, Etch, Diffusion, PVD, CVD, etc.
Joining as a key member of a small but experienced team, you will be responsible for defining and developing new products in a clean room environment, working directly with our engineering team and customers. Testing and characterisation of prototype devices will be required as well as liaison with external subcontractors and partners.

You will be enthusiastic and reliable with the ability to make decisions and learn new tasks quickly. You will be willing to take on additional responsibilities and have a desire to get the job done within tight deadlines. The ability to communicate effectively at all levels is essential as are excellent IT skills.
Experience and Skills
Successful candidates must have:
· Degree or PhD qualified in Physics, Electronics / Electrical Engineering or a Materials science
· A proven track record of MEMS semiconductor device development experience (minimum 2 years) with relevant industry experience preferred.
· Technically competent with a thorough understanding of semiconductor physics is essential with knowledge of typical MEMS / CMOS interface circuitry and material properties
· You must also be eligible to work in the UK
