Guildhawk, in collaboration with Sheffield Hallam University, is seeking to recruit a high-calibre graduate as part of a team to design and develop a cloud-based interactive service that is core to the company's strategic vision. You will be helping to innovate, design and develop an interactive digital platform that will support the management of the next generation of gig-economy contractors, challenging not only your own skills but also the industry as a whole as well as the company’s business model. Initially the team will involve two roles combining: strong technical skills, experience of interaction design as well as the ability to design and develop cloud-based solutions.
You will be responsible for the design of an innovative service delivery and management platform, capable of supporting and responding to new business opportunities within the company. The job will offer excellent prospects working on a high-profile project, and a great opportunity to play a significant role in sustaining the company's growth.
You will be based at Guildhawk's company offices in central Sheffield. You will primarily be responsible for developing robust code to support the company's technical innovations. You will also receive support in aspects of interaction design, architecture design, software design and deployment from experts at Sheffield Hallam University.
The appointments carry a range of benefits including:
- A competitive salary (plus incentives including a significant individual training budget). Reviews and bonus-based rewards will be assessed as the project progresses.
- Residential off-site management training will also be provided free of charge.
- You will also be entitled to pursue a Masters-level qualification, either as an MPhil or taught MSc, at no cost.
The KTP scheme is one of the UKs largest graduate employment programmes and one of the longest running. It helps business to innovate and grow by providing three-way collaboration between universities, organisations and graduates.
Businesses link up with an academic or research institution, which then help to recruit a suitably qualified graduate, known as a KTP associate. Employed by the university, the associate then works for the company on strategic projects, helping to improve business performance and increase productivity.
Successful candidates will be well positioned to take on permanent positions within Guildhawk upon successful completion of the project.
