Due to internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transport Planner/Engineer to work within the Transport Development Control team for the Cherwell and West Oxfordshire locality.
This is a key role in enabling and shaping growth in Oxfordshire. Working closely with strategic transport planning colleagues and planning officers, you will assess and advise on the transport impacts of planning applications, and secure highway mitigation and contributions to transport infrastructure.

This role would suit an experienced, organised, creative and motivated professional with a background in transport engineering or transport planning. With a good understanding of the development planning and place-making process, you will possess superb communication and negotiation skills.

Any degree accepted but preferably transport planning/engineering or a related subject.
