A good honours degree in any subject (or in exceptional circumstances, relevant work experience at a high level). Non-EU students should have academic credentials equivalent to at least GPA=3.6.

Whether you want to diversify your career options, add a new dimension to your existing management skills, or step up to a managerial role in an international setting, then our flexible MSc International Management will be of interest to you.

This programme is designed for well-qualified applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and experience, who relish a practice-based learning experience. Its core is practitioner-oriented workshops, shared with a cosmopolitan student cohort aiming to develop careers in the global economy. The principal themes are: how international markets work; managerial tools and techniques for an international setting; and international strategic management for coping with change and complexity. The programme ethos emphasises student engagement, and the development of analytical skills and creative thinking to solve the complex problems that arise in international businesses of diverse organizational forms.

The programme does not require a management background. If you’ve a strong background from the sciences, arts and all professions (eg law, engineering, medicine, architecture), then the programme will provide you with the opportunity to broaden your career options. If you already have a background in an area such as management, business, commerce, finance, accounting, economics, then the strong international focus of the programme will add a new dimension to your existing skills and capabilities. Finally, if you have already developed your career but wish to step-up to a new managerial role in an international setting, then this programme will improve your future job market opportunities by enhancing your professional cv.

Information for international students

A minimum proficiency level of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent (CEFR: C1) is required. Other certificates and evidence of English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.5 can be accepted.
