Good language (classical, medieval or modern) degree desirable but not essential. Some reading knowledge of Welsh an advantage.
Months of entry
An unique opportunity to study Medieval Welsh prose and poetry, but also to become proficient in reading and speaking Modern Welsh. Core modules on the Four Branches of the Mabinogi, and Modern Welsh, with a wide range of elective modules including early heroic poetry, Dafydd ap Gwilym, and Arthurian texts.
