Entry requirements

Designed for students who wish to become professional artists and/or art historians. Appropriate for those who feel that their practice is enhanced by their interests in art history and equally, for those art historians with sufficient experience, who feel that the study of the subject is greatly enhanced by a sound knowledge of methods, materials and techniques.

Course content

Directed studio studies in 1 or more of: painting; printmaking; photography; book illustration. Research project and supervision from range including; British 19th- and 20th-century art, design and architecture; photography and the cinema; art in Wales; Renaissance studies; landscape studies; museum and gallery studies; women's art; craft and design; ceramics.
