Develop the advanced purchasing, logistics and supply chain expertise you’ll need for management roles in national and international organisations. Our challenging, enjoyable Masters course is accredited by The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
We’ve designed our course to reflect the practical realities of managing complex, efficient and invariably international supply chains for fast-moving businesses. It covers the latest supply-chain thinking, methods and technologies, while giving you the leadership, planning, operational management and analytical training you’ll need.
We make innovative use of simulations, welcome industry innovators as guest lecturers and organise site visits, where you’ll be able to observe operations and how they’re run. Site visits include four days at a large international organisation and one of its suppliers in Sindelfingen, Germany. Meanwhile, our guest lecturers have included visiting professionals such as Professor Kuhn of Mercedes Benz Egypt.
You’ll complete your course with a major dissertation project that involves researching a topic in-depth, possibly as part of an internship with a supply chain organisation.
Our facilities include the world-renowned LINKS simulation game, an internet-based supply chain simulation game, and the Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab which gives you access to rich information about large corporates’ supply chains and, in turn, their suppliers’ supply chains.
More generally, Lord Ashcroft International Business School offers the opportunity to study in a state-of-the-art learning and teaching environment, designed to maximise your studies. You'll benefit from on-site facilities, as well as virtual learning support materials through our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
