This MSc offers a unique mix of practical vocational and academic study. It’s an ideal progression route whether you’re a qualified postgraduate doctor, medic from the tri-services, paramedic, or in another postgraduate pre-hospital care role such as nurse or operating department practitioner (ODP).

The course will enhance and broaden your opportunities for moving into advanced practice roles involving effective assessment and management of patients prior to transfer to the acute setting. Our lecturers are all experienced practitioners with strong professional links.

You'll focus strongly on understanding the rationale behind pre-hospital trauma patient care management, and on evaluating and developing practice.
