You need to be a practising health care professional with at least two years' post-registration experience in critical care or pre-hospital care and an appropriate degree, professional qualification or equivalent. Our decision is based on your overall suitability for the course as well as whether you meet the minimum entry requirements. This MSc offers a unique mix of practical vocational and academic study. It’s an ideal progression route whether you’re a qualified postgraduate doctor, medic from the tri-services, paramedic, or in another postgraduate pre-hospital care role such as nurse or operating department practitioner (ODP).
The course will enhance and broaden your opportunities for moving into advanced practice roles involving effective assessment and management of patients prior to transfer to the acute setting. Our lecturers are all experienced practitioners with strong professional links.
