You need to be a practising health, welfare or social care practitioner educated to degree level and with an appropriate professional qualification or equivalent. If you don't have a first degree you can apply by the non-graduate entry route - please contact admissions@anglia.ac.uk.

Course content

Whatever health, welfare or social care arena you currently work in, this well-established course will prepare you for advanced roles in a range of settings.

This course will enable you to advance your knowledge, skills and professional practice and meet the increasingly complex demands within health, welfare and social care services. You'll be joining a vibrant community of health and social care professionals with access to excellent facilities and academic staff with a wealth of experience and research interests which cross the broad spectrum of health and social care.
You’ll explore working across organisational boundaries, innovating and taking on more demanding responsibilities. We'll foster your creativity so that you can influence practice and service delivery and bring about change. Leadership and inter-professional multidisciplinary working developed in line with Government initiatives.

The course will enhance and broaden your opportunities for moving into advanced practice roles, especially those involving inter-professional issues and the need to integrate primary research into your practice.

You'll have access to excellent facilities and academic staff with a wealth of experience and research interests which cross the broad spectrum of health and social care. We also offer a wide range of student support services. If your first language is not English, you’ll benefit from a number of study skills sessions available throughout each semester. You’ll also have a personal tutor who’ll provide support throughout your time with us.
