Normally applicants should have a first degree, with Honours, or equivalent. Applicants must be a current physiotherapy practitioner and have initial qualifying physiotherapy registration/state registration with relevant home country. International applicants will be required to demonstrate a standard of English language (IELTS) at level 6.5 (including written English) or equivalent.
PG Certificate will consist of 60 credits made up from a mixture of 15/30-credit modules which focus on physiotherapy practice or work-based learning.PG Diploma will consist of the above plus a 30-credit compulsory research module and a 30-credit designated module from the following choice:Leadership for Advanced Practice;Advanced Communication Skills;Law & Ethics in Health & Social Care.MSc will consist of the above plus a compulsory 60-credit Postgraduate Major Project.

The aim of our course is to enable physiotherapy practitioners to develop their knowledge and extend and advance their practice to meet the increasingly complex demands of physiotherapy within the health and social care sector.

Exercise is an essential component in both the prevention and treatment of many diseases that are common today. Our course will enhance your understanding of the use of exercise to aid rehabilitation and enable physiotherapists to explore in depth the theory and relevance of holistic rehabilitation in the promotion of function.
