Entry requirements

To be eligible for this Degree Apprenticeship at Arden University you must have either:

  • Two subjects at GCE A level or equivalent
  • Plus, passes at grade C or above in English and Maths, plus one other subject, at GCSE level or equivalent; or
  • Completion of a recognised Access Programme or equivalent.
  • For students whose prior learning was not taught in English:
  • IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (no less than 5.5 in any element)

Course content

Aimed at those currently employed with management responsibilities, overseeing people, projects, operations and/or services, the Arden University Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship has been designed with your workplace is mind.

The CMI accredited Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMI) is more than just a training provision for a specific management function - it provides a comprehensive education for learners to develop and receive on-the-job experience and a professional pathway for future development.

Upon completion of this degree apprenticeship, learners will achieve a Business Management (CMI) qualification and will also be awarded with a Level 6 Diploma in Business, and receive a Chartered Manager status. CMI promotes excellence in UK management and leadership, and learners will have free CMI membership throughout their studies. This includes access to a range of resources including a large online library, the CMI mentoring service and UK networking events.

How does it work?

You study online via our innovative digital platform, plus 3 days a month face-to-face coaching at our Birmingham Study Centre*. These sessions also include access to industry coaches and guest lecturers.

We may also be able to provide this at your workplace or at our other study centres. please get in touch to see if you're eligible.

*Employer-funded programmes allow learners to graduate without the debt accumulated by a ‘traditional' degree
