Entry requirements

For learners to enrol on this degree apprenticeship they must:

  • Be in employment and have written evidence confirming support from their employer;
  • Have evidence of funding eligibility;
  • Two subjects at GCE A-level or equivalent;
  • Passes at grade C or above in Maths and English, plus one other subject, at GCSE level or equivalent;
  • Or, have completed a recognised Access Programme or equivalent.

For students whose prior learning was not taught in English:

  • IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (no less than 5.5 in any element).

Course content

Created for employees to gain a broader understanding of the tech industry, Arden University’s Digital & Tech Solutions Degree Apprenticeship has been designed with your workplace in mind.

For learners, degree apprenticeships provide the ability to study for a degree without putting their career on hold. With the flexibility to study via a virtual classroom, supplemented with face-to-face coaching and guest lectures, learners will be at least £50,000* better off studying via an apprenticeship programme.

The Digital & Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship is available with four different specialist pathways: Data Analysis, Software Engineering, Business Analysis and Consultancy.

Upon successful completion, you’ll be equipped with the skills and confidence needed to take on a senior role within the digital and technology sector.

How does it work?

You study online via our innovative digital platform, plus 3 days a month face-to-face coaching at our Birmingham Study Centre*. These sessions also include access to industry coaches and guest lecturers.

We may also be able to provide this at your workplace or at our other study centres. please get in touch to see if you're eligible.

*Employer-funded programmes allow learners to graduate without the debt accumulated by a ‘traditional' degree
