To be eligible for this course you must normally have either:
- A UK honours degree at a minimum of second class (2.2) or equivalent.
For students whose prior learning was not taught in English:
- IELTS 6.5 or equivalent

We are more than happy to consider, and positively encourage, an application from you if have substantial management experience (typically 5 years) and can show us that you have the motivation to study the programme.
We’ll ask you for a personal statement that demonstrates your ability to study the course. We may also want references and evidence of relevant experiences.

If you have other postgraduate level business awards you may be eligible for entry and/or exemptions. This will be assessed on an individual basis.
If you don’t already have an undergraduate degree, and you’re not quite there with the required amount of work experience, we may be able to offer you a place on one of our undergraduate degree programmes.

Months of entry
Security management is becoming more and more important, with many organisations now employing specialists to protect their information and reputation from risks, threats and crises.
This programme will suit you if you are either in or wish to move into a role where you are responsible for the management and deployment of IT security, including infrastructure, policy making, governance and compliance.
In this programme you will consider the impact of the changing IT security landscape and focus on the design and establishment of prevention plans within your organisation. You will consider the evolving field of technology and its rapid development within the context of security risks.
This course is delivered in one of our study centres in London, Birmingham or Manchester, with one three-hour evening session a fortnight. As well as these classes, you’ll have access to our unique online learning platform. There, you will be able to reinforce your learning through a lively combination of discussion forums, guided group work, podcasts, narrated presentations and online lectures. 90% of our students work alongside their study and we have designed this course so that you can achieve your qualification without having to press pause on your life or career.
