Entry requirements

To be eligible for this course, you must normally have:

  • A UK honours degree at a minimum of second class (2.2) or equivalent.

For students whose prior learning was not taught in English:

  • IELTS 6.5 or equivalent

Please be aware that this course will require you to handle numbers. We recommend that you have a minimum of GCSE standard maths to succeed. Please speak to our admissions team for more information.

If you don’t have academic qualifications

We are more than happy to consider, and positively encourage, an application from you if have substantial suitable work experience (typically 5 years senior level experience) and can show us that you have the motivation to study the programme. We’ll ask you for a personal statement that demonstrates your ability to study the course. We may also want references and evidence of relevant experiences.

If you don’t already have an undergraduate degree, and you’re not quite there with the required amount of work experience for postgraduate study, we may be able to offer you a place on one of our undergraduate degree programmes. With today’s increasing demand for data analysts in every business function, this online MBA with a data analytics pathway will prepare you for key leadership and strategic management roles. Designed for practising managers looking to take that next step upwards, you will have the opportunity to put your learning into practice, learning how to turn analysis into useful insights and strategic business plans to drive competitive advantage.

We believe that modern leadership requires cross cutting management skills that apply to a range of business functions and themes. Studying this online MBA with a particular focus on Data Analytics will help you to develop your broad management skills, whilst learning how to analyse data effectively to create and manage strategic decisions needed within the complex landscape of modern business. If required, your tutor may be able to give you suggestions for improvement and help you understand how to apply your newly acquired skills into real life settings.
