Entry requirements

To be eligible for this course you must normally have either: A UK honours degree at a minimum of second class (2.2) or equivalent. For students whose prior learning was not taught in English: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. If you don’t have academic qualifications we are more than happy to consider, and positively encourage, an application from you if have substantial management experience (typically 5 years) and can show us that you have the motivation to study the programme. We’ll ask you for a personal statement that demonstrates your ability to study the course. We may also want references and evidence of relevant experiences. If you have other postgraduate level business awards you may be eligible for entry and/or exemptions. This will be assessed on an individual basis.

This Master’s programme has the added value of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) accreditation. Combining the kudos of this leading professional body for marketers with our academic rigour gives you a postgraduate qualification with exceptional value in the marketing industry.

What having the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) accreditation means

In addition to developing a range of high level transferrable skills and the ability to demonstrate them, this programme is aligned to the CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing.

This means that on graduation, you will be able to add even more value to your Masters qualification by gaining an additional CIM qualification for relatively little extra time and cost.
