Course content

The online MSc in International Accounting & Finance builds upon your existing expertise in accounting and finance to help further your career and cement your credibility. We expect graduates of the programme to progress toward senior management roles in their organisations.

Students may take their core modules in the order they choose. You may start in any block and take one six-week module at a time. We have a range of assessment tools that complement the module you are studying and ensure that you are meeting key employability skills. The dissertation is then completed over four blocks (six months). Here you will apply research methodologies and financial analytical skills, learnt on the programme, to report on a particular organisation.

You’ll work collaboratively while building on individual strengths. A wide variety of Aston alumni have established themselves as leaders within their respective industries as well as innovators within their fields.

Chartered Institute of Management Accountants

On completion of our Online MSc International Accounting & Finance programme you will be eligible for the CIMA masters gateway which means you are exempted from the Certificate, Operational and Management levels completion of our degree enabling accelerated routes into the CIMA qualification. To take advantage of this next step, you will need to apply for and pass a management level case study via the CIMA website to go straight to the strategic level.
