Good honours degree (First or 2:1) in relevant science subject, or MSc plus 2:2 in relevant science subject. Start: any time. Students register for MPhil or PhD at end of first year subject to qualifying report.

Course content

Neurosciences contains three research groups:

Neuroimaging
Clinical and Cognitive Neurosciences
Sensory and Perceptual Systems.

Colour, Shape and Motion Perception; Ageing Eye; Mathematical Modelling; Amblyopia; Myopia and Presbyopia; Ocular Biometry; Ophthalmic Lens Design; Glaucoma; Driving Vision; Binocular Vision

Information for international students

Our own (NRI) studentships are not suitable for students from outside of the EU.

Fees and funding

Research Council, studentships; registered optometrists may be funded as clinical demonstrators for undergraduate course.
