A minimum of a lower second class Honours Degree in product design, engineering, or a business related subject. Graduates with at least two years relevant design work experience are particularly encouraged to apply. Students without such experience may be admitted based on individual merit. English language requirements for international students: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL score of 600 or equivalent

Course contentMSc Product Design Enterprise has been developed to interest graduates from a business or design background, enhancing knowledge and understanding of the principles underlying professional product design, and enabling the student to develop appropriate entrepreneurial skills enabling viable manufacturing, marketing or business enterprises.
The programme requires the student to undertake 10 taught modules and to complete a major project. Each taught module involves up to 22 contact hours, including lectures, tutorials, seminars and project classes. The course runs from October to September with examinations/assessments held in December and March/April. The Research Project explores the feasibility of the Major Project.
