Course content

Current research is focused on two broad themes: risk in safety management and a systems approach to environmental evaluation and assessment.

Department specialisms

Risk management, safety management, health, safety and environmental management systems, remote sensing and Geographical Information Systems (GIS), integration of biodiversity in environmental management systems.

Information for international students

IELTS 6.0 (5.5 minimum in each section) or TOEFL 550 / 213 is required for applicants whose first language is not English.

Fees and funding

NERC, EPSRC and industry funding may be available only to UK / EU students. There are no scholarships available for non-EU students.
