Course content

Current research is focused on two broad themes: Polymer Synthesis and Polymer Processing and Performance. For further details refer to http://www.ceac.aston.ac.uk/ppp.htm

Department specialisms

Control of polymer architecture, ferro-magnetic polymer synthesis, biodegradable packaging materials, ring opening polymerization, novel route to plasticizers, polymer stabilisation, reactive processing and extrusion, polymer recyclability.

Information for international students

IELTS 6.0 (5.5 minimum in each section) or TOEFL 550 / 213 is required for applicants whose first language is not English.

Fees and funding

EPSRC, QINETIQ and industry funding may be available only to UK / EU students. There are no scholarships available for non-EU students.
