A good (1st or 2:1) degree in Psychology is required.
Months of entry
The MSc Health Psychology is accredited by the British Psychological Society as Stage 1 training to become a Chartered Psychologist. Stage 2 supervisors are also available. There are six 20 credit modules: qualitative research methodology, quantitative methods and advanced statistics, health behaviours, illness processes and behaviour, health inequalities and developmental processes, professional issues and applications; and a 60 credit research project. A range of staff expertise means a range of qualitative and quantitative projects in applied settings such (NHS, schools, workplaces) are possible.
