Course content

This 12 month course provides recent graduates with training via a combination of taught advanced level modules and by means of individual research projects chosen to give a range of hands-on experience in advanced analytical techniques (including AAS, NMR, GC and HPLC) and scientific skills applicable for analytical chemistry research. Wherever possible, projects are designed to tackle real environmental and industrial problems. The majority of projects are carried out in collaboration with an industrial partner. Important Notice: Bangor University is currently in consultation regarding the teaching of Chemistry. A possible outcome of this consultation is that this Chemistry programme may be discontinued. Discontinuation may result in students not being admitted onto the course with effect from, and including, the coming academic year (2019/20).
