Criteria for admission to the programme will be a relevant undergraduate degree in a health or sports science-related field which should contain anatomy and physiology at Honours degree level.
There will also be an interview process, for which a personal statement will need to be submitted beforehand; together with satisfactory references, an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Certificate plus relevant medical clearance.
The School will consider working professionals with non-graduate qualifications on an individual basis.

Bangor University is proud to offer a postgraduate pre-registration Diploma in Physiotherapy leading to eligibility for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and accredited with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). HCPC registration is mandatory in the UK in order to practice as a physiotherapist.
The programme, which is currently subject to validation, will be delivered over two academic years on a full-time basis leading to the award of Postgraduate Diploma in Physiotherapy.
The programme will follow a problem-solving and evidence-based approach to physiotherapy practice and spans a wide range of modules appropriate to today’s profession.
There are limited commissioned place on this programme and these places will be decided based on interviews. There is also a possibility of additional self-funded places being made available.
