Course content

One of the largest Welsh departments, covering all periods but with an emphasis on Britain and Wales. Some unusual specialist areas of research.

Department specialisms

Celtic Mythology; Welsh Language; Welsh Literature from its Beginning to the 20th-century; Welsh Drama and Television; Creative Literature.

Information for international students

The school has a long tradition of teaching international students from the USA, Europe and Japan.
