Entry requirements

Applications from all backgrounds will be considered. Candidates without a degree may apply to the GradCert to enable them to progress to higher level awards. Working professionals don't need a first degree - professional qualifications and at least two years professional experience are usually acceptable, together with evidence that you would benefit from study at this level. If you have undertaken courses elsewhere within the last five years or you have been involved in professionally related development work, you might be able to gain prior accreditation. A maximum of 90 credits of previous professionally-related higher education study may be credited.

Course content

A modular and flexible programme that allows a choice of modules to meet the individual continuing professional development needs of all teachers and other professionals/managers, including care work, counselling or similar professionals who work in any context of education and training.
