  • Collaboration with Theatre Royal Bath’s the egg, a leading provider of theatre for young audiences.

This course combines writing, puppetry, scenography, adaptation, facilitation, industry skills and academic study. We equip you with the practical and analytical skills to enter the burgeoning field of Theatre for Young Audiences.

The course was designed for practitioners and researchers including actors, directors, scriptwriters, producers, scenographers, and others with a relevant background in theatre and performance. We foster collaborative work, immersing you in the operational life of one of the most innovative Theatre for Young Audiences venues in the country – the egg. You’ll graduate with invaluable artistic, academic, and professional contacts.


Graduates of the course move into work within theatre companies and as writers, directors, producers, or academics.
