GCSE Grades A-C / 4 or above in English & Maths, a good degree which should be at least 50% relevant to the subject you wish to teach.
All applicants are required to pass the Professional Skills Tests in Numeracy & Literacy prior to commencing any teacher training progranme. Satisfcatory DBS Clearance - all applicants will be require to undergo a Disclosure & Barring Service check.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in and understanding of young people as well as knowledge of the current issues effecting education and the National Curriculum.

Our Secondary Programme is run by Dave & Mark who, between them, have many many years of experience - not only have they been running Beds SCITT for more than 20 years but they also have over 80 years of teaching experience - Dave being the Vice-Principal at Samuel Whitbread Academy and Mark having recently retired from his position of Vice-Principal at Wootton Academy Trust. In the office we are a happy bunch - Cathy manages the office, supported by Jane who mainly looks after Recruitment & Placements and Jade who takes care of the current cohort and all things remotely technical! Sue is our Finance Administrator who is the key contact for Student Loans and Bursary enquiries.
