Entry Requirements Applicants for entry must normally have gained: a degree from a recognised university or an equivalent standard in a professional or other recognised qualification and have gained a minimum of 1 year relevant work experience in theHRM/HRD function or related role in private, public or service sector.

Course Overview – 2 year Programme These Advanced-level (postgraduate) qualification cover the essential knowledge and skills required to be an effective HR or development practitioner. Through critical analysis and investigation, learners will develop understanding of the business and international context within which HR operates, as well as the role of HR in driving organisational performance. These programmes are most suitable for persons who:
1. Have responsibility for human resource (HR) decision making with an organisation at either operational, tactical or more strategic level:
2. Are HR professionals in a tram or HR functional management role who are seeing to enhance and develop their career
3. Have responsibilities for the HR function and activities within an organisation without a specialist function
4. Are independent or employed consultants who support organisations in meeting their goals
The Advanced Diploma in HRM and HRD consist of 8 units and delivered over a period of 2 Years:
HRM in context: Leading, managing and developing people: Developing skills for business leadership: Investigating a business issue from a HR perspective: organisational design and development; Resourcing and talent management: Managing employment Relations and Reward management

A combination of assessment activity including – national external examination, portfolio development and 7,000 word Management Report
