Course content

One of the main challenges of international trade lies in its technicalities and in the composite set of skills that export managers need to develop in order to operate effectively in foreign markets.

The increasing complexity of the business world, the growing exposure of SMEs to export and the emergence of new global players require not only a theoretical knowledge of international economics but also a practical expertise that combine business, law and trade practices.

Moreover, in a post-Brexit scenario, UK companies will face the hurdle of not belonging any longer to the EU and its trade regulations, even if it is not clear in which kind of free trade area configuration the UK will eventually settle. In any case, it will translate in an additional training needs.

This PG Certificate in Trade Management & Policy is of extreme interest for managers of all organisations trading at a global level, as well as for trade advisers and export managers from both manufacturing and services.

It aims at helping business operators gain essential skills to successful engage in international trade, combining theoretical understanding with a hands-on approach. Therefore, the PG Cert is aimed at executives and prospective export managers.
