Entry requirements

MMus Intensive applicants must be at Level 7 standard in their Principal Study Area and be well-suited to the intensive period of study. Your suitability for this intensive route will be determined following your audition and/or interview.

Course content

This course allows considerable opportunity for specialisation in practical and theoretical study. Practical study is supported by pathway-specific academic studies, plus a broader programme including research seminars and lectures on musical philosophies and aesthetics.

Information for international students

MMus Intensive applicants should have IELTS 7 or must have studied and completed a Bachelor’s degree in the UK.
