You must be a graduate. If you do not have a degree, you may be accepted if you can demonstrate equivalent experience and / or qualifications. You may have existing qualifications in: - Marketing - Business Studies - English / Linguistics - Economics / Statistics - Multimedia / Digital Content Creation - Art and Design - Media and Communications - Journalism / PR - Psychology. Ideally you will demonstrate a talent/aptitude for areas such as: - Project Management - Ideas and strategy - Design and/or Content Creation - Research, Statistics and Analysis - Social Media International (non-EU) students also require the following: English IELTS score of 7.0 (no less than 6.5 in any bands). Students who have TOEFL or Pearsons are also encouraged to apply.

Future Media: Pro – MA/MSc has been co-created with global communications agency McCann Erickson, as well as a panel of other top digital advertising and marketing agencies, to build a vocational Master’s degree that gives you intensive, real-world experience.
Successful students gain either an MA or MSc in their subject, depending on which route they take. Graduates are industry-ready, and have gone on to work with established companies 383 Media, ASUS, Decathlon and BEC-TERO.
You will work on digital marketing campaigns, brand and product promotion, developing mobile and social media content and devising digital and video campaigns. You’ll be working from nine-to-five, four days per week for nine months in the Future Media Studio at Birmingham City University’s New Technology Institute. For the remaining three months you’ll be working with industry partners to professionalise your own expertise in your choice of specialism.
