Course content

If you've completed an undergraduate degree in sports therapy – or a related sports science course – this postgraduate course is the next step in enhancing your employability prospects and furthering your knowledge.

Sports therapy plays an integral part in life, not just in sport. This course will provide you with the chance to become an integral part of providing the best care and management to those suffering from short and long-term injuries.

The aim of our MSc Sports Therapy course is to broaden your understanding of sports therapy through the academic study of sports medicine and sports science. It’s a conversion Masters, so if you’ve studied a relevant discipline at undergraduate level, you can study Sports Therapy and widen your job prospects and tailor your interests.

The course enables you to qualify as a sports therapist within one year, offering a quick but informative route into practice. We'll teach you the core knowledge and skills required by the Society of Sports Therapists, enabling you to become an accredited practitioner.

We also have partnerships with Warwickshire Cricket Club and Sport Birmingham which keep our courses fresh and relevant, and provide valuable placements, trips and case studies.
