Entry requirements

You should have a degree or equivalent qualification, or professional experience that equates to degree level. All suitably-qualified candidates will normally be interviewed, though this can take place by phone if necessary. Selection will be based on ability to benefit from and contribute to the course of study. Exemption from some modules may be granted for appropriate prior learning. We welcome applications from mature students and from members of communities traditionally under-represented in higher education.

This programme is intended to provide a postgraduate qualification for those with an interest in any education sector, including early years, primary, secondary, further education and higher education.

The programme is appropriate for anyone with an interest in education and it could form the basis for a career in many education and training settings.

Students must be proficient in English language, spoken and written (help is available), and have a qualification equivalent to a good first degree or professional experience that equates to degree level.
