Entry requirements

This course is designed for qualified health and social care professionals who have already studied to degree level and wish to expand their sphere of practice to include new elements within their professional role. You must also be engaged in practice for normally a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Course content

This part-time course is aimed at those who are caring for older people in a care setting. The course will reflect local, national and international agendas and your assignment work will focus on developing your practice.

The course can be accessed at degree or Master's level, with the assignment expectations different for each level. The aim is to improve service and care delivery for the growing population aged 65 years and over.

Information for international students

IELTS (Academic) 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component or equivalent.

Postgraduate Certificate - £2,475

BA (Hons)/Postgraduate Diploma - £4,950

MA - £6,600

Fees for 2017 will be set in April 2017.
