Entry requirements

We use the UCAS Tariff to set our minimum entry requirements. The tariff provides a point-based equivalent for a range of qualifications, such as 'A' Levels, NVQs and so on. For more details on the UCAS points system and eligible qualifications, see the UCAS website. General UCAS entry requirements for the full time programmes are 260 points for 3 years, and 300+ points for 2 years accelerated.

Course content

The LLB (Hons) International Commercial Law (M221) is designed to provide a deeper understanding of law as it relates to business and the commercial world, giving you competitive advantage in the global market. You will develop the ability to undertake legal research, identify legal issues and put forward appropriate solutions, analyse cases and statutes and construct legal arguments, demonstrating an international commercial focus to employers.

After qualifying you’ll be in a great position to either move onto the Legal Practice Course (LPC), begin the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) or impress employers with your specialised knowledge and skills.

Information for international students

If you are an international student, and English is not your first language, you will need to have an IELTS level 6.5 score (or equivalent) to prove that your English is good enough to take the programme.
