Course content

The Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) is the conversion course for non-law graduates who want to qualify as either solicitors or barristers. Our GDL will prepare you for practice, polish your performance and boost your prospects.

We offer highly flexible ways to learn, designed to fit around your other com-mitments: full-time, part-time day, evening and weekend*, and our online GDL.

*Not all part time modes are available at all locations

Fees vary for the GDL programme depending on which location you choose to study at. Part-time study may not run at all locations. There are also a number of funding options available. For more information, visit our website.

You can also choose to study our LLM [Law Conversion], which provides the necessary training needed to convert your non-law degree, and qualifies for a postgraduate loan of up to £10,280 from the Student Loans Company. Find out more.
