Entry requirements

An Honours degree at a minimum of 2:2 or an equivalent professional qualification. Holders of an Ordinary degree or those with substantial work experience may be considered, provided prior studies have included a significant and relevant business content. International equivalents from recognised institutions are welcomed. International students also require an approved English language qualification.

Course Overview

This postgraduate programme is designed to meet the needs of those who have already completed a business-related degree and wish to continue to study International Business in-depth. Our specialist teaching team will help you to develop your desired subject specialisation through challenging in-depth study and research.

The Award will give a deeper understanding of business in an international context, including its limitations, relevance and other possible applications.

Course Structure

The course comprises Core and Elective Modules and culminates in a dissertation in the third semester.

The course is structured so that the Postgraduate Certificate and Postgraduate Diploma stages each take one semester of full-time study or or two semesters of part-time study. On completion of the dissertation, which is of a further minimum three months duration, the award of MA will be achieved.

· Aspects of International Finance & Accounting

With our help, you will develop the important ability to learn independently, particularly in terms of undertaking advanced research. A wide range of academic and pastoral support will be available throughout the course. Assessment is through a combination of coursework, examinations, presentations, project work and a research-based dissertation. On graduation, you will be in a position to progress to senior levels of management within international business organisations.

Fees and funding

UK students

From September 2016 Postgraduate Loans will be available to full and part time students studying a masters course. Most other Postgraduate study must be funded by the student or a sponsor. Students considering applying to the College funds for financial support will have to demonstrate they have made every effort to obtain funding for their tuition fees and their day to day living costs.
