The Brunel MBA recruits managers and other professionals of high caliber who can both benefit from and contribute to an intellectually challenging management development programme. Applicants should normally: - Have a minimum of three years' full time work experience at managerial or professional level following your degree - Have a good UK honours degree or its overseas equivalent It is important for candidates to clarify that they have significant / focused sector experience with responsibility for either people, resources and/or budget which is supportable by official documentary evidence. We do not require GMAT for candidates meeting the above criteria.

The MBA Programme from Brunel Business School, Brunel University London is an intensive, research-led MBA designed to maximise students' investment in a global executive career.

The Brunel MBA is a 1-year Full Time Programme or 2-year Part Time Programme with three specialisations:

  • General Management
  • Aviation Management
  • Healthcare Management

The richness of the Brunel MBA curriculum is based on the key business concepts that can help managers and CEOs alike develop the expertise required to lead and manage in the international business context. The highly commended Leadership MasterClass Series and the Career Development Programme combined with over 500 hours of student-tutor direct (teaching) contact hours successfully maintain the balance between theory and practise and reflect the School’s ambitions for its graduates.

The Brunel MBA academic component comprises six core modules, followed by elective modules in General Management, Healthcare or Aviation and is crowned by a Business Project.

International Business Tour

MBA students have the opportunity to embark annually on a Business Tour to one of the main economic hubs in the world, where they learn about operations of multinational corporations. A recent visit included a weeklong trip to one of the leading BRIC economies: India. Students had a unique opportunity to meet with senior directors of companies such as Cadburys, McDonalds and Merrill Lynch - as well as a number of local social enterprises and SMEs.

Career Coaching

As part of the MBA students receive advice on all aspects of career planning, including reassessment of their true strengths and weaknesses. This aspect of the MBA programme is invaluable to students who, having worked in managerial roles for a number of years may now wish to evaluate their experience to date and progress their careers into the future.
Students also benefit from the strong recognition from employers in the UK and internationally thanks to the research partnerships the University enjoys and have access to the Brunel award winning Placement and Career Centre enabling student to find placements, internships and continue in their career globally.

The average age of the current MBA intake is 34 and participants have an average of 7 years' professional work experience. The class sizes are between 25 - 35 students, allowing for an excellent learning atmosphere and individual attention.

Brunel University is offering an automatic Academic Excellence Scholarships to postgraduate students to the value of 15% of tuition fees for anyone who has obtained a first class undergraduate degree from a UK University, either in the UK or abroad.

Brunel International Scholarship Programme is an annual award run by the Brunel International office that is open to all international students. Its goal is to provide financial support to exceptional students. Scholarship holders will go on to represent Brunel as ambassadors throughout their time at the University.

Alumni concession - a 15% reduction in the fee for fully self-funding Brunel University graduates if full payment of the programme fee is made at or before registration
