A typical offer will include registration on the appropriate part of the NMC register and a first degree in a subject relating to nursing. You will also need to make arrangements for a suitable practice placement to run concurrently with the theoretical element of the course. Most practitioners who undertake the specialist practitioner qualification receive sponsorship from a Primary Care Trust. The practice placement is then arranged by the sponsoring Trust.
