Entry requirements

In order to apply you must be a qualified medical practitioner with a minimum of one year post qualification clinical experience. We will check all international applications in terms of: a) Equivalence of qualifications (by using NARIC) b) English Language Level IELTS score of 6.5 (with minimum 6.0 in writing) or equivalent.

Course content

This course is designed for Cardiology medical practitioners who wish to enhance their knowledge and skills in Cardiology. The teaching team, which includes a number of internationally renowned speakers and consultant cardiologists, has specialist knowledge and research interests in the range of subject areas offered.

The course consists of lectures, seminars and journal clubs, which will be delivered by the University's Institute of Medical Sciences, based on the Medway campus (30 minutes from London). Single accommodation is available on the campus.

Observation of clinical procedures and imaging modalities will take place at a major London teaching hospital during three separate periods of one week.
